Speaking about the speculation, her spokesperson told People that Sarah has not decided where she will live, revealing: “She is currently exploring many options, and no final decision has been made.”

Andrew and his ex-wife spent 20 years living rent-free in the luxury property, an arrangement that caused an outcry among the royals.

According to Andrew’s lease, obtained by The Times of London, he paid about $1.3 million when he moved into the home and another $9.9 million to renovate the property.

That lease detailed the “peppercorn” arrangement Andrew agreed to when he moved into the home—given to his mother—noting that he only paid a small amount annually if it was “demanded” from him.

The lease begins in 2078 and applies to Andrew and his family, according to the store.

The former couple’s exit from the storied property comes amid a renewed scandal over their alleged involvement with Epstein, after the Justice Department released dozens of new photos and documents related to Epstein’s case — including a photo of Andrew standing over a sleeping woman.

That document release includes emails sent to Epstein by Sarah in which the Duchess of York made disparaging comments about her daughter, Princess Eugeniewho was only 19 at the time.

Although Andrew has repeatedly denied wrongdoing, he is facing fresh calls for an investigation by the authorities as a result of the latest release.

It was first reported on October 26 that Andrew had agreed to leave the property, with the first suggestion that he would move to nearby Frogmore Cottage, there. Prince Harry again Meghan Markle he lived before.

It was later confirmed that Andrew would be moved to the royal family’s estate at Sandringham in Norfolk, serving as a treasured retreat for his late mother. Queen Elizabeth II. The move will be privately funded by King Charles.

“His Majesty has today begun the formal process of removing Prince Andrew’s Styles, Titles and Honours,” read a statement from the October announcement, according to the BBC. “Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

“His lease at the Royal Lodge has, until now, provided him with legal protection to continue to live. Official notice has now been issued that he is withdrawing the lease and will move to a private residence.”

Although it is not talked about Epstein was made in a statement, the palace refers to the allegations made by Andrew about his relationship with the late financier, and those made by Andrew.Virginia Roberts Giuffrewho repeatedly said that Andrew slept with her when she was young.

“This criticism seems necessary, even though he continues to deny the allegations against him,” the statement continued. “Their Majesties wish to make it clear that their thoughts and sympathies have been, and will continue to be, with victims and survivors of any form of abuse.”

The news came just days after Andrew announced that he was voluntarily giving up many of his titles and honors to avoid ongoing accusations that he was overshadowing the work of his brother and other royals.

“In discussion with the king, and my immediate and extended family, we are dealing with ongoing allegations of me interfering with the work of His Majesty and the royal family,” Andrew said in a statement on October 17.

“I have decided, as I always do, to put my duty to my family and my country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stop living in society. With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel that I should go one step further. Therefore, I will no longer use my title or the honor that has been given to me. As I have said before, I strongly deny these allegations against me.”

Many reports suggest that the decision to strip Andrew of his remaining titles was made entirely at the behest of King Charles, despite earlier reports that. Prince William he had intervened to force Andrew’s hand about his living conditions—by threatening to remove Eugenie’s and Beatrice’s titles.

Journalist and royal scholarEmily Maitlis– the same woman who did the 2019 interview with Andrew which is believed to have damaged his remaining credibility – said William had forced Andrew to agree to leave the Royal Lodge by threatening him with this heinous act.

“There was a question of whether … the meeting between Prince William and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie said, ‘You have to get your father out of the Royal Lodge, otherwise we will start re-examining the status of your qualifications,'” Maitlis said during an episode of his “News Agents” podcast.

The reporter went on to say that “pressure” was being put on the sisters to try to convince their father to move, adding: “At the moment, they are allowed to be princesses, but there was pressure being put on them. Obviously, you can see why Andrew, as a father, wants to keep his daughters happy and keep their titles in place.
