Lachie and Jules Neale’s luxury Brisbane family home has been listed for sale after their high-profile split and will fetch millions in one of the hottest markets on record.

Neighbors were seen taking pictures of a list of signs outside the home and a utility vehicle on the site as a new home in Brisbane, due for construction in 2021, looks set to fetch the couple around $3m.

It is coming to the market at what is considered to be one of the busiest times of the year to sell in the Queensland capital, with McGrath Estate Agents’ Tony O’Doherty and Sam McLeod expected to be keen on the property as it comes up for sale – with two signs outside the home already ringing the bell.

A five-bedroom home in the Hamptons at Seven Hills, was purchased in July 2022 for $2.43 million, and just three years ago, RPData’s automated valuation model sat at $2.925 million.

But the result could reach $3.244 million according to price estimates, fueled by an increase in demand for large, flipping houses close to the CBD.

Even a typical sale of more than $3 million can represent a potential increase of more than $600,000 in just three years, underscoring how fast Brisbane’s luxury market has moved since 2022.

The home is 5km from the Gabba home to the Lions and features 2.7 meter high ceilings, glazed and glazed windows, open plan living and dining, a kitchen with a stunning farmhouse style sink and an outdoor area including a glass-framed swimming pool upon purchase.

Seven Hills has recorded double-digit price growth over the past three years, rising 17.5 percent to $1.828 million — up more than 80 percent over the past five years.

The area is within the catchment area of Seven Hills State School with several private schools nearby including Saint Thomas Catholic Primary School, San Sisto College and Saint Martin’s Catholic.

Me Neale is locked in to the Lions until the end of 2026, earning eight to nine times the average salary in Queensland. Born in South Australia, he was lured to Brisbane from Fremantle Dockers after the 2018 season, sinking his salary into a $1.77m house in Coorparoo in Brisbane’s inner south first before buying in Seven Hills.

The property has seen a lot of public interest after the Neales split which could significantly raise exposure, increase scrutiny and pressure when the property goes to auction.
