Heather El Moussa Shares A Look Inside Her $5.2 Million Newport Beach Home As She Enjoys ‘Girls Night Out’ With Christina Haack

HGTV star Heather Rae El Moussa gave fans a glimpse inside her and her husband Tarek El Moussamansion in Newport Beach, CA, while sharing adorable photos of a fun-filled “girls night” with her “Flip Off” co-star Christina Hack.
Heather, 38, who married Tarek, 44, in 2021, three years after her split from Christina, 42, welcomed her ex-partner to their new $5.2 million mansion for a night of sightseeing and wine drinking.
In a series of photos taken in the middle of the night, Heather revealed a look inside the home she and Tarek bought in June 2025, when they moved out of their nearby apartment—now on the rental market—to find a suitable family home.
One photo showed Heather getting ready for the evening by decorating the home with bright pink flowers, while a chic fireplace and large TV can be seen in the background.
Another photo showed a variety of meats, cheeses, and fruits placed on boards.

In the latest sign of their closeness, Heather revealed that she had been serving Christina’s brand of champagne, Clé Cachée, to her guests, sitting on the star’s large white marble island along with the food.
Heather then shared a photo of her friends eating stickers before they started work on making their vision boards.
Haack came up with his vision board with a single caption alongside the caption, “Lots of ideas to talk about, not to pin it down too much. To be continued…”
In June, Heather and Tarek proudly unveiled their abode in a video shared on Instagram, where they hailed their home investment as the start of a “new chapter,” and added that they were “excited” to bring fans along as they renovated the already lavish abode.
In the video, which gained more than 34,000 likes in less than 24 hours, they announced their plans to add “El Moussa design flair” to the house after moving in.
“We have some news. … We’re leaving!!! We’re so excited for this new chapter and new adventure for our family. We can’t wait to make this house a home and add our El Moussa design flair and show you guys some of the process,” the couple captioned the video.
As fans walked through the home’s front door, the couple revealed the grand interior of the modern mansion, which was recorded to have officially closed in February. The couple revealed a number of open spaces that they can now make their own.

The former “Selling Sunset” star Heather then revealed that she was putting her interior design skills to use in their new home as she looked at lots of fabric swatches.
The modern home has an open floor plan and a chef’s kitchen with modern appliances and wood cabinetry that complements the chic flooring.
In addition to the sophisticated beauty of wood, the interior of the place also has a nice swipe of black molding—while its four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms means there is enough space for the duo to raise their family.
In addition, this place is located four minutes away from Christina’s home, with whom Tarek shares two children, a daughter.Taylor14, and a sonBrayden9, which may mean that you will be able to spend more time with the children than ever before.
After buying their new place, Heather and Tarek quickly listed their place on the rental market, initially offering $25,000 a month, before increasing that price to $30,000.
The duo may be trying to capitalize on Orange County’s growing popularity among affluent house hunters, with Realtor.com® data showing that the median listing price rose more than 70% between October 2016 and October 2025.
The couple spoke about their listed home during the latest edition of Celebrity Sanctuary, detailing how they set out to transform the stark white interior to give it more personality and sexiness.
“When we first got our beach house, it was a very white house, like everything is white, and we wanted to brighten it up a bit, darken it a bit.
“So we kept the beauty of white, but added lots of pops of black and black. So the final theme was champagne, white, gray, and black, and it came out beautiful.”
Described in its listing as a “dream home on one of Orange County’s most desirable streets,” this property is just a stone’s throw from the nearby beach and offers many spectacular water views from the modern rooftop deck.

“Crowning the home is a spectacular roof, designed for both relaxation and entertainment,” crows listed. “Enjoy ocean views from the hot tub or relax in one of the two separate living areas, one [of which] you have fire.
“The enclosed attic studio maximizes the space with a TV, fridge, microwave, and sleeper bed, creating a cozy, all-season living space.”
Speaking to Realtor.com, Heather explained that the roof quickly became her favorite part of the property, revealing: “In our beach house, I love the roof. There are two fireplaces on the roof with a living area. We completely rebuilt and rebuilt everything.”
However, for those who prefer to cozy up in front of the fire or enjoy a casual meal with friends in the kitchen, the home offers ample opportunity for both.
Spread over 2,900 square meters, the residence has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, as well as an “open-concept kitchen,” a large sunlit living room, and an additional balcony, which comes complete with another fire pit.
The kitchen has a large island that can seat four people, making it ideal for comfortable dining, alongside high-end appliances such as a six-burner Wolf range and a built-in fridge.
The couple is currently offering their beach house as a fully furnished rental, with a minimum rental requirement of 30 days. According to the listing, the asking price of $30,000 per month may vary depending on the length of the lease and the season.
While the home offers ample amenities—and an HGTV-worthy interior—Tarek and Heather previously admitted that their family was out of place, explaining that they wanted to find a new abode that would provide more outdoor space for their children.
The couple, who share a sonTristan2, and Tarek’s two children from his marriage to Haack, noted that while their beach house was perfect for those looking to get away, it no longer provided what they needed for a full-time home.
“There was no yard or pool, so to be honest, it was for the children,” they said of their decision to buy a new place to live far from the sea. “We wanted more space, and we wanted to be by the park because the kids are No. 1, and we want to make sure they’re happy.”
As it turns out, the perfect opportunity to pick up a property with ample outdoor space came by accident, when Tarek was “randomly driving” near his wife and son’s favorite park and happened upon a “for sale” sign.
“At that time, we felt that the price was too high, so we followed it and they reduced it a few weeks before Christmas, and then, knowing that during the holidays things are slow, 10 days before Christmas, we wrote a low offer, and it was finally accepted,” he recalled.
“So we ended up buying a house well below asking, and the nice thing is that they had an offer to back it up, all the money, $300,000 higher that came a few days after we bought it, so that’s why the time of year you go to buy real estate can be very important to them.”
