HGTV Star Alison Victoria Teases Big TV Comeback After Show’s Cancellation: ‘Don’t Worry, I’m Back!’

HGTV star Alison Victoria has teased a potential TV comeback after fans of the home improvement show complained he was no longer on their screens.

“Battle on the Beach” host Victoria, 44, was one of many HGTV favorites whose shows were axed by the network over the summer during a shocking program purge, which also brought the series “Married to Buildings,” “Christina on the Coast,” and “The Flipping El Moussas” to a quick end.

Although Victoria—who recently moved from Chicago to Las Vegas—does another one project that aired on HGTV in the form of “Sin City Rehab,” which premiered in September and ran for eight episodes, the network has not said if it plans to renew it for a second season.

Meanwhile, the “Windy City Rehab” alum has been noticeably absent from the network … until now.

Victoria hinted that she might return to the small screen much sooner than viewers expected, replying to fans in the comments on Instagram that she is “coming back.”

Victoria teased her big comeback after an Instagram user commented: “We missed you on HGTV,” alongside a fire emoji, prompting the home improvement expert to reply: “Don’t worry, I’ll be back!”

Comments were shared on a photo of the TV star flaunting her washboard in a blue bikini, and other photos of herself during what appeared to be a hot holiday.

Her teasing comes amid a period of major change for Victoria, who moved from the Windy City to the Sin City in an effort to renew her creativity—and with it her HGTV series.

She opened up about the move in a wide-ranging interview with House Beautiful in September, explaining that she always had a special place in Vegas, even after living in Chicago for so many years, having first spent time living in tropical Nevada when she was 19.

“Some of my most important years were out in Las Vegas, and a lot of people didn’t know that and don’t know that. I always had a house here and I always kept a life here, but I just came in and visited,” he told the outlet.

However, he admitted that his move to Las Vegas was also due to another factor, which was the lawsuits he faced where customers accused him of “poor construction,” a shame he was eager to leave behind.

Victoria and her former salesman, Donovan Eckhardtboth were sued by several clients—and Victoria then sued Eckhardt for financial mismanagement and immoral behavior.

Victoria shared the news through her Instagram comments section showing photos of what she was up to over the weekend of Jan. 25. (Instagram)

“After what I faced with many cases and the building department in Chicago, it turned out … I don’t know how to describe it. It’s like being in love, right? I had a relationship with a city that I loved and lived in, and it didn’t treat me well,” he explained.

“It didn’t happen, and I needed to rest. I needed to get out of there. I wasn’t my happiest self; I wasn’t living my best life.”

The HGTV star added, “When I’m happy, I’m my most creative self. My creativity was dying in Chicago, and I felt that in my work.”

“I just left. I left a beautiful, spotless dream home. It’s just the way I left it—all my stuff, all my clothes are there. I just said, ‘I’m out.’

The designer now lives in a Spanish-style home in Henderson, NV, which she calls her “sanctuary.”

Now that she’s settled in her home in Nevada, Victoria revealed that she hopes to change the city “one house at a time, to show people that it doesn’t have to look the same.”

He later told Realtor.com® that he feels like Vegas is his perfect home, explaining: “I’ll tell you this much: I’m home. Finally, for the first time in my life, I’m home. I mean, I’m designing houses all over the country. So my business will keep growing and doing jobs all over the country.

“So that’s never going to change, and I’ll be spending a lot of time in California. My boyfriend lives in Malibu, so we’ll be traveling between Malibu and Las Vegas. But I finally feel like I’m living my best life, and I feel really, really safe, and it feels really good.”
