EXCLUSIVE: ‘Miami’s Most Sensual Home’—With $350K Spinner Bed and Alligator Skin Walls—Listed for $5.2 Million

A Miami residence hailed as the city’s “sexiest, most sensual” home has hit the market for $5.15 million—complete with a $350,000 custom-made swivel bed, alligator skin walls, and facial recognition access.

The incredibly luxurious residence, which has been named “The Other Side,” is located on the 30th floor of Continuum South Beach, a high-end oceanfront development that offers residents all kinds of luxury amenities.

However, there may be little inside the luxury building to compete with the features found in Apartment 30002, “sophisticatedly designed as an immersive, post-dark experience.” The listing agent is Julian Johnson of the Corcoran Group.

That’s not to say the unit isn’t any less attractive during the day, when it’s flooded with sunlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows, which also offer jaw-dropping views of Biscayne Bay.

At night, however, that’s where the two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom life begins, courtesy of custom multicolored backlighting that was “designed to command” the main space—creating a romantic space that the property’s description hails as “‘Fifty Shades of Grey’.”

While the space offers many unique touches throughout, including a carved wall in the main living area, a large private balcony, and a stunning chandelier above the dining table, it is the master bedroom that is the star of the show.

Designed to feel intimate and spacious, the bedroom has a wall made up of pocket doors, which open to the living room—or can be closed off from the outside.

The shadows of the cars block the Miami sunlight, shutting out the hustle and bustle of city life.

“At its center, wrapped around a $350,000 European swivel bed crocodile skin and illuminated with multi-colored lighting designed to command the room, not blend into it,” says the description.

The basic bathroom offers just as much luxury, with a large marble Jacuzzi in the center, and double sinks. Meanwhile, the second bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower.

In the main living area, residents can enjoy panoramic views of Miami or kick back at the custom onyx bar, which is lit from within to provide an ethereal glow at all hours of the day.

“Surrounded by illuminated glass walls, crocodile skin treatments, a sparkling onyx bar, and a marble jacuzzi with a waterfall feature, it creates a mood that is equal parts luxury, power, and indulgence,” the description continues.

The drama begins when you step through the double doors of the unit’s entryway, where a light blue carpet and woolen walls greet guests, along with an illuminated sign of the property’s name.

The luxury home also has smart technology, including an integrated sound system that cost more than $350,000 to install, and Savant home automation with facial recognition access.

“‘The Other Side’ is a rare opportunity to explore the intersection of luxury real estate, design, technology, and provocative storytelling at one of the world’s most exclusive addresses,” the description continues.

According to records, the property was originally listed for the highest price of $5.6 million in July 2025. Previously, it last changed hands in 2010 for $1.6 million.

Outside of the unit, which measures close to 1,800 square feet, residents can enjoy access to a variety of amenities offered by Continuum South Beach.

This includes “12 acres of landscaped grounds, a four-story gym and spa, three tennis courts, two lagoon-style pools, one open-air restaurant and much more,” according to Continuum’s website.

“Located on the southernmost 1,000 feet of Miami Beach’s oceanfront, and bordering South Pointe Park, Continuum South Beach offers the tranquility of an oceanfront neighborhood nestled in close proximity to world-class dining and nightlife,” the property description continues.
