And unlike when you buy a program, shoppers who arrive between 2pm and 4pm on a Saturday can see exactly what they’re buying.

“It never happened,” said Alex Pope, of the respected family-owned real estate developer McDonald Industries.

“These are 10 low-rise apartments, finished and finished.

“It’s been rewired, it’s been rewired, since the fire repairs have been completed … the customer doesn’t need to think about what’s being offered, they can come and check it out on Saturday.”

It will be the first, best dressed, so if you are at the front of the line, you are guaranteed to be able to get it.

McDonald Industries has been buying old buildings and renovating them since 1974, selling more than 7000 apartments.

Papa says they are known to sell out within the first half hour.

Some apartments come with a study.

“We got a good success, the prices are at the door.

“We had 50 people and we had to give them numbers like RTA.

“The first 15 buyers … that was a different price and a different time.

“But she dresses well first, people can see for themselves, she is visible.”

Pope says the increase in interest rates this week will not affect his customers.

“These are not the first people who will have their interest rate increased by .25 percent,” he said.

“These will be old customers who are demolishing their homes, some are looking for a place in the city, they may still have a place in Palm Beach or the Highlands.”

Traders are also confident of a successful day on Saturday.

“These are crackers flats,” said Paton Jamieson of Paton Jamieson Prestige Property, who is selling them in partnership with Mark Daly of Bradfield BadgerFox.

“I think they will be very popular with the stingy people who want to live on the same level, there is no ladder in sight.”

Well there are good old stairs, but there is also a climb to get to your apartment.

Records show the old block was bought for $21.5m in July, 2024, and the restoration has been an 18-month project.
