HGTV’s Leslie Davis Reveals ‘Surprise’ Joining ‘Rock the Block’ Carpenter: ‘Together Forever’

Icon of HGTV Leslie Davis announced that she is engaged to a network star Don Reidywithin three years the two met while filming the hit show “Rock the Block.”
The 42-year-old “Houses for Sale” star took to Instagram to share news of Reidy’s “surprise” proposal on a trip to Leavenworth, WA, with her three sons from her previous marriage.
Davis went on to credit “Rock the Block” for bringing the happy couple together after meeting in season 5 of the hit show, which was filmed in Treasure Island, FL, in 2023, and where Reidy worked as a dedicated carpenter to build his home.
“WONDERFUL! Don popped the question during a snowmobile trip to Leavenworth, joined by all three of my boys, which made it even better. Turns out ‘Rock the Block’ gave me a win in more ways than one,” Davis revealed in an Instagram post shared on Jan. 14.
“Somewhere between the chaos of sunup-to-sun-downs and lots of laughter, I found my person. Don, you are my safe place, my co-workers, and my favorite travel companion.

“What started as friendship during one of the worst times of my life turned into true love. We were in it together then… and now we’re in it together forever,” he added alongside a series of photos of the duo.
The lovebirds met in 2024 when Davis and her twin sisters, Lyndsay Lambincluded Season 5 of the “Rock the Block” renewal challenge.
Reidy was seen working behind the scenes of the TV series when they met, with Davis telling People that he was one of the key team members who helped bring their successful vision back to life.
“He was our special carpenter. He worked exclusively at mine and Lyndsay’s home for the entire project, helping us make all our custom woodwork,” he recalled.
During that six-week shoot, Davis and Reidy developed a close friendship that eventually turned into romance, which the HGTV host admitted was “totally unexpected.”
“We developed a great friendship,” he told People. “But, somehow, as the months passed after the show ended, we became closer, we talked non-stop on the phone and we fell in love.”
The couple initially pursued a long-distance relationship, with Davis living in Washington, and Reidy in Colorado. However, when they realized how special their love was, the latter moved to live with his colleague, who runs Lamb & Co. Real Estate from Snohomish, WA, and his sister.
Lamb was one of the first to congratulate his twin on his engagement, sharing a heartfelt comment in which he expressed his happiness that Davis has found such a wonderful partner.

“This is a win for twins in the books. Seeing my sister this happy fills my heart beyond words. Leslie, you deserve this kind of happiness. I’m so excited for this next chapter for these two, and thank you for being there when their story begins on ‘Rock the Block!'” she wrote.
Some fans flooded the comments section to express their joy at seeing the HGTV star find love.
“You look happy my friend! You deserve nothing! Congratulations!” fellow HGTV icon Jenny Marrs said.
However, others were confused by the news, admitting that they were under the impression that Davis was still married to her first husband, Jacob Davismet him in high school.
Although they have shared limited details about their marriage or relationship, Davis revealed in a blog post in 2021 that she and Jacob had been married for 19 years.
Davis and his first partner have three sons—Kyler, Moneyagain Cole-and I have never spoken publicly about the breakup. Jacob has largely avoided the limelight as his ex-wife pursued HGTV fame.
“I’m so confused I thought you two were already married. When did you break up? It doesn’t matter right now, congrats on your new love,” another person commented on Davis’ post.
“When did you get divorced?” another person asked, before adding: “Congratulations, as long as you’re happy.”
“Did I miss something? I thought you’d been married for many years. It looks like you’re very happy with yourself,” chimed in a third.
