Simone Biles accepted the role of Chicago Bears WAG with passion in the months since she competed in her last Olympic Games—but today you can see that time of her life is fast approaching. if her husband, Jonathan Owensand his team lost to Los Angeles Rams in the NFL playoffs.

Biles, 28, and her 30-year-old partner have spent the past two years splitting their time between the Windy City, where Owens has played since 2024, and Texas, where they spent five years building their dream wedding on a lakefront parcel in Spring.

That lifestyle has led to some serious travel, especially for Biles, who has documented herself bouncing between the couple’s Illinois home and their palatial lake house, which was only completed in November.

They may even get a chance to settle into their new Texas home, which sits on a small estate called Benders Landing Estates—which took the couple more than five years to build.

The couple are believed to have bought the land on the edge of the man-made lake in 2020, when they began designing the property which has become an incredibly lavish home.

However, that process will end up being the beginning of a very long journey, according to Biles, who previously opened up about her first home building experience on her Instagram, joking that she felt “lied to” by the experts who promised it would only take nine months.

“Building a home takes a lot of patience,” she wrote in her November post, while sharing a video of herself and Owens that was taken while only the frame of the house was being built.

“The design process started in 2020 and took a year to complete,” he said of the first step they took in their home building journey.

“Permits took time [the] HOA; disbanded Feb 2022; filled on 11/11/25,” he added.

Biles noted that their wait for their dream home was made more painful by the fact that they were given a a lot previously estimated completion date.

“They are lying when they say it took nine months to build!” he said.

Still, the gold medalist was quick to express her pride at finally finishing the mansion, writing: “Still proud of us. ILYSM @jowens.”

There’s been a big change in the couple’s life since they moved out of their home—where Biles will go on to compete in her third Olympics in two years in the build-up to what some believe could be her final Games appearance.

She and Owens also tied the knot at the time, marrying for the first time in an April 2023 court ceremony in Texas, before throwing a lavish celebration with their loved ones in Mexico the following month.

Owens has also made some big strides in his NFL career. When construction began, he was in his final season with Texans before signing with the Packers in the 2023 season.

He spent just one year with the Wisconsin-based team before signing a two-year contract with the Bears.

In addition to their new mansion, the couple again she has another Texas residence—a Spring estate that Biles bought in 2020, four years after she claimed her first Olympic gold.

That house, which Biles has renovated extensively since moving five years ago, was the athlete’s first married home to her husband. This is where it was understood that they were living together while they were waiting for the construction of their buildings to be completed.

It is not yet clear if the two plan to put their residence on the market now that their traditional property is gone. However, records show that it remains unlisted at the time of writing.

Adding to their impressive property juggle is their residence in Chicago, where they recently spent the holidays together between two Bears games—and where Biles revealed they were settling in for the duration of the NFL season in an Instagram post in May.

In a letter shared on her Instagram Stories page, Biles revealed that they were busy buying new cars for their Chicago home, although she did not reveal any details about the property itself. It is also not known if the two bought property in the Windy City or chose to rent instead.

NFL players typically have a few months off between seasons, starting with their team’s exit from the previous year’s playoffs and ending in or around July, when training camps typically begin.

This gives Biles and Owens plenty of time to settle in and enjoy their luxurious new Texas home, which is equipped with all kinds of unusual amenities, according to a post shared by Biles online.

In another post, Biles proudly showed off the couple’s laundry room, where she revealed that they havetwowasher and dryer sets, so she and Owens can do their laundry at the same time without hauling appliances.

“Like Jonathan always wants to do laundry on the same day as me,” Biles wrote in the caption. “Now [there is] one set for each of us.”

Among other special features of the home is a custom-built room for the couple’s dogs, which Biles revealed she decorated with the same black-and-white tile they used in their poolside swimming pool.

The space has a pet spa, as well as a built-in dog bowl area, which was already used by the exerciser.

Outside, the residence also has an underground trampoline and sports court.
