The Rapper Example shows a change of scenery with a new bride

The rapper, For example, gave fans a glimpse of his beautiful garden at the Brisbane home he shares with his new fiancee, Daisy Cox.

The 43-year-old, whose real name is Elliot Gleave, shared a tour of her new home in Paddington on social media, just weeks after Cox revealed her diamond ring.

Gleave shares her son, Luke, with Cox, who is a British art collector. They are based in Brisbane and travel back and forth to Europe for work.

The pair became engaged over Christmas, with Gleave hiding a diamond ring in a cracker.

Brisbane-based landscape designer Brooke’s Blooms gave the garden a major makeover in the spring – posting a ‘final reveal’ video with the rapper, with a flashy ‘before’ video in which Gleave describes the garden as “dead leaves everywhere, grass overgrown, neighbors complaining”.

The team created a ‘fairy wonderland garden’ including cowboy cactus, miniature orange trees, an olive tree, and a mixed herb garden including oregano, thyme and rosemary.

The owner, Brooke Jennings, said they did a “summer clean”. “Things were getting old, so we removed the old plants and planted other fruit trees,” said Ms. Jennings.

“He has a young child with Daisy and he wanted Lukey to be able to go out and pick herbs and fruit and vegetables with him, so we cleaned up a large area, put in new plants, and fertilized with mulch.”

When asked what he was looking forward to about the new garden, Gleave replied: “Not lifting anything or getting my hands dirty.”

“It will look like….a wonderland garden.”

Bloom’s Blooms has worked with many high-profile clients, including Adam Treloar, Josh Dunkley, Charlie Cameron, and Corey Oates.

Gleave also has two children with former Miss Universe Australia Erin McNaught.

The two announced their separation in 2023.

They bought the stunning, five-bedroom, four-bathroom Paddington home Gleave and Cox currently live in for $2.8m in 2019.

It was one of the first homes built by celebrity builder, Graya, and broke the sub-500 sqm block record at the time when it changed hands in an offmarket deal negotiated by Matt Lancashire and Josh Brown of Ray White – New Farm.

McNaught bought a house in Toowong in December 2022 for $2.265m.

Brooke’s Blooms first completed the Gleave garden in the same house in 2022.
