First public entry, “Selling The OC”. Fiona Belle opens up about the emotions he felt filming the hit Netflix series — and an unlikely cast who quickly became “family.”

Although the 24-year-old appears confident as she lands multi-million dollar deals and travels to her luxury clients through huge listings, she now admits her experience was tough at first.

Speaking exclusively to Realtor.com®, Belle revealed that being the youngest in the room—and not knowing many of her peers—made stepping in front of the camera more difficult than it appeared on screen.

“Honestly, I never thought about this show. It’s not something I ever asked for – it just came to me,” said Belle, talking about how she got a place on the series.

“I didn’t know what to expect, I remember doing the first interview and I was so nervous because I’d never done anything like that before, I had to say to myself, ‘Fiona, you have to speak – say something. I just didn’t know what to do at first.'”

However, he found solace in his partner Alex Hallnow he considers them “family.” The couple quickly formed a bond that extended beyond filming, with Belle describing their bond as hard-working and deeply supportive.

“I’m so grateful for our relationship. You’ve become one of my best friends—you feel like family,” he said.

Belle also credited Hall with helping her navigate both the pressures of reality TV and the competitive world of luxury real estate, and described her as a “mentor.”

“We have the same personality types in all the best ways, and we differ in other ways where we complement each other,” said Belle.

“He can be a little tougher if I’m not a little tougher.” That’s what I need in friendships and relationships to grow in.” Our friendship has improved a lot outside of this program.

“He’s been a mentor to me. Especially being new to the area and navigating the elite ranks. I’m happy to have him there to guide me.”

Although Belle forms a real friendship with Hall, not all of the energy comes across smoothly on screen.

Speaking to viewers of the tension between him and his colleagues Ashtyn ZerboniBelle said that their relationship has not improved since the wrap was filmed.

“Pretty much everything you saw on the show is where it ended up—it’s the end of it,” he said. “You know, I hope in the future, one day, there may be more relationships, but that’s all you’ve seen.”

Belle added that she and Zerboni got to know each other a little before filming.

“I met him, as before, but I never worked with him in the office. So, you know, over time, but there is no close relationship between us,” he said.
