‘The View’ Host Alyssa Farah Griffin Lulls Her Newborn Baby In Heartwarming Family Photo Taken From $3.5 Million Suburban Home

Alyssa, 36, and Justin, 37, welcomed their baby boy in Feb. 10, just four months after the host of “The View” announced her pregnancy live on the talk show, and her clients shared the happy news of her new arrival with viewers on Feb. 11.

“The first thing we want to do is start by congratulating Alyssa and her husband Justin on the birth of their baby boy. He weighed 7 pounds and 19 and a half inches,” the manager said. Whoopi Goldberg shared. “We are happy to report that mom, dad and Justin, Jr. are doing well.”

Now, Alyssa has revealed an exciting look inside her first few weeks as a mother, sharing a series of photos of her family—and her time in the hospital—on her Instagram account, simply captioning the photo carousel: “Heart full.”

The first photo in the slideshow shows Alyssa and her husband gazing lovingly at their baby, cradled by his mother while sitting in the family’s living room in Bronxville, NY, where the Griffins moved in September 2024.

Although she didn’t reveal it at the time, Alyssa later shared that she had been receiving assisted reproduction during the move, which saw the couple move from their Upper East Side apartment to a palatial space in the suburbs.

However, after sharing the news of her pregnancy, “The View” host opened up about her pregnancy struggles in a candid interview with People, telling the newspaper that she was initially reluctant to share the news because she was worried about how viewers would react—especially those who often “text me … bottles of milk.”

Alyssa revealed that she endured five rounds of IVF before conceiving, noting that she wanted to wait until she and Justin were sure of the pregnancy before sharing the news publicly.

“Most of my friends have sadly experienced miscarriages, too, at one point or another. So we wanted to feel like we were in a safe place before we got too excited,” she continued.

However, after sharing the happy news, Alyssa was more than happy to talk about her plans for her family, expressing her joy in creating a warm and loving home for their son.

“I am very happy to be the mother of a boy, even though I will be eaten by children at home because we have two male dogs,” she joked. “But I wanted a boy first. I grew up with a sister, and I always liked the idea of ​​a big brother looking after my siblings.”

Justin added: “As someone who grew up with a big family and a very close family, the best memories I have are of my mom, dad, brother and our cousins. So I’m really excited to create that place for our son.”

Having moved to the suburbs, the couple now have plenty of room to expand their children, having previously revealed that they would both like to have two children.

Fortunately, while their New York apartment was somewhat limited, occupying just 1,500 square feet, including two bedrooms and two bathrooms, their Bronxville residence has plenty of space for their growing family.

Located in Bronxville Village, approximately 15 miles from downtown Manhattan, this four bedroom, four bathroom, 1924-era property offers 4,000 square feet. The home combines “classic charm with modern sophistication,” the previous listing noted, with features like beautiful arches, a sunken living room with a gas fireplace, and modern comforts.

Highlights include a chef’s kitchen that connects to the breakfast area and family room, dining room, office space, wine room, and master suite with spa-worthy bath, and two closets.

The lower level has a media room. Outside, amenities include an English “charming” garden, a stone terrace, and mature plantings.

Another advantage of this location is its proximity to the village center, schools, and the train station, added to the list.

However, Farah revealed shortly after announcing that she would be moving to Bronxville that the decision was not without problems, explaining that she had actually discussed it with the then President. Joe Biden on the day they arrived in the countryside.

Alyssa added that while she was focused on her hosting duties, her husband handled the hard part of the move.

“He was able to move 99 percent because I had to be here,” he said. “And he was like, ‘This is a big day; you have the president. Look, don’t rush home.’

Just a few months after leaving her home in New York—which she and her husband are thought to be renting—Alyssa made another real estate splash when she listed her Washington, DC home for a whopping $1.8 million.

The sale came just three weeks after putting the two-bedroom, two-bathroom property on the market for a record low of $1.59 million, meaning the on-air reporter walked away with a hefty profit.

The luxury home served as the TV host’s headquarters for less than two years before she and her husband moved to New York City to take a job as host on “The View,” joining the likes of Goldberg and Joy Behar on ABC’s hit talk show.

Its listing described a “quintessential Georgetown home” that is “among the finest townhouses in the East Village.”

The description also noted that Alyssa and her husband made several updates, including reassembling the chimney and “renovating” the kitchen, as well as installing a new lighting system that “enhances the home’s warm and inviting ambiance.”

Adding to that inviting space is a wood-burning fireplace in the “cozy dining room,” and an eat-in kitchen that opens to a private balcony, described as a “lounge for relaxing or entertaining.”
