Jackie O’s cunning $30m exit plan

It’s Jackie O’s quiet $30m way of securing her future – regardless of what happened to her radio show with Kyle Sandilands.
And for all the hype and doubt about the future of KISS FM, it seems to be working well.
Even though Jackie O is leaving her $10m a year job, this secret exit plan seems to have been put together with great thought and cunning.
And it’s something he’s probably been planning for a long time now – his plan B if you will.

In the 2025 interview, which also came up because of their current problems – Jackie O revealed that she would be willing to leave her lucrative job if things didn’t go well.
And the radio queen’s $30m luxury home in one of Australia’s most sought-after locations could be her base.
“Would you leave the game and the 10-year contract if things don’t go well?” Jackie O was asked in the 2025 interview.
The radio star replied, “Yes, I would.
“I never want to feel bound by this contract when I am driven by money.
“I have never been asked for money in my work, and I always want to be honest about that.
“So if it doesn’t feel right at any stage, I would be ready to leave that.”

Another view and the home that was there before.
With Sandilands using KISS FM to build a $5m mansion he has on the market, Jackie instead chose to quietly build his own paradise.
Henderson is currently building a new home in Clovelly which he is buying for $13.25m in 2023.
The cost of rebuilding is about $5m.
Henderson hit the headlines in March 2023 when he bought the Clovelly home after it was revealed he had paid $1.25m over the reserve at auction.
His Clovelly home is still under construction but artists from the development application have shown what it will look like when it’s finished.

The brick pillars and first floor foundation are ready, ready for the next phase of construction. According to the architectural plans, what appears to be the ground level is taking shape and will be a gym that opens up to a swimming pool.
The block is ideally situated to capture the stunning, uninterrupted views over Gordons Bay.
Plans for the four-bedroom house have been drawn up by architect Madeleine Blanchfield and Henderson reckons it will be “like being in Italy on the Amalfi Coast” when it’s finished.
The home could cost an estimated $30m once completed.
Jackie O made the purchase shortly after selling her previous home, a property in Woollahra, for $13m. The price was almost $2m more than he paid.

The radio pairing revealed that there is an incredible amount of money to be made in radio, as they signed a 10-year contract reportedly worth more than $200m.
Although Henderson’s $100m contract has now been terminated, ARN’s press release says it has offered Ms Henderson an opportunity to land another show on the ARN network.

The news that came out last night is that Jackie O has stopped working with him on the radio with Kyle Sandilands who had a dispute for a long time.
KIIS FM shared a video of the house for sale on its Instagram page and a segment of Sandilands discussing buying the property three-and-a-half years ago with “major plans to convert it into a family home”.
“We will never stay there,” he said.
Sandilands paid $3m for an expansive site in the Hills District of Sydney’s North West in August 2022 with the intention of building a Hamptons-style family home.
