Property mogul lists $25m mega mansion amid AI scare

Businessman Emil Juresic is selling his iconic Brisbane home, ‘Hacienda’.
An Australian businessman has decided to sell his entire property portfolio – including the house he lives in – due to the threat of artificial intelligence.
Emil Juresic, founder of NGU Real Estate, has listed one of Brisbane’s most valuable properties – a three-level mansion occupying 1400 sqm – with price expectations of $25m.

The ‘Hacienda’ overlooks the Indooroopilly Golf Course and has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a six-car garage, a home office, three entertainment areas, and a wellness center that includes a commercial gym, steam room, sauna, and cinema.

Mr Juresic said he had made about $22m back on the property in the past few years, but believed it was too expensive now.
The architect and her partner, Giselle Kramer, are hesitant to sell the property at 3/249 Harts Rd, Indooroopilly, but think now is the time.

“It’s one of only three homes on the golf course, with incredibly peaceful views and 100 per cent privacy,” Mr Juresic said.
“You are only 4.5 kilometers from the city, but it is quiet.”
Speaking on the Australian Property Investment Podcast, a business executive told listeners that he believes AI will soon replace jobs, leading to massive unemployment, reduced borrowing capacity, and falling property prices.

“In the next two weeks, I’m selling everything I own — including my home,” he said.
“One says; ‘Why would you do that? Because I will be able to buy…my house for half the price in two years’.”
