Compass International Holdings names Rory Golod as president of growth

Rory Golod has been named president of growth at Compass International Holdings share price (CIH), the parent company of The compass, Christie’s International Real Estate, @properties as well as Anywhere brand. In this newly created role, Golod will focus on driving agent success across the company’s unified technology platform.

In Monday’s announcement, CIH said Golod will oversee efforts to help nearly 340,000 real estate professionals across their companies grow their businesses through a single technology platform.

“My team and I will lead the effort to bring the Compass technology platform to all of our brands, which is our most important focus as a company this year and next,” said Golod. HousingWire. “This is important because not all agents in our product portfolio will be able to benefit from the greater productivity and impact on the client experience they can get by being able to use our technology.”

According to CIH, Golod’s revenue includes platform acquisition, agent recruitment, mergers and acquisitions, corporate communications and training. “I’m focused on driving growth across all of our products, from recruiting agents and M&A,” Golod told HousingWire. “And I’m focused on helping our existing agents grow their businesses and that’s really what releasing a technology platform for all types of products is all about. We want to be the place for agents who want to grow their businesses. Golod has been with Compass since December 2014, holding several senior roles in line with the company’s expansion. He previously led Compass’ entire trading business, directed the growth of dealers nationwide and served as chief of staff at Reffkin. He most recently served as Compass’ president of growth and communications, a role he has held since April 2023.

“I was here in the early days, back when we were at Urban Compass and we had very few people and to see how far we’ve come as an organization is amazing. It means everything to me to be a part of this journey,” said Golod, in an interview with HousingWire. “When I look back on the first 10 years, I believe we were setting the stage and building the company that we will establish for the next 10 years, to be great and great.”
