One of America’s Largest Homes Has Been Priced Down for an Amazing $40 Million

A Beverly Hills, CA, megamansion, with 50,000 square feet of almost everything imaginable, has received an equally shocking price cut: $40 million off its final price.

The 6.03 acre luxury property was built in 2012 and designed by an architect. Ed Tuttle.

Perched on an elevated site and offering uninterrupted views from downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean, the sprawling estate known as the Angelo Estate went on the market for an astounding $195 million in October 2024.

In April 2025, it was reduced by $20 million to $175 million, and is now being offered at an additional asking price of $135 million.

The large peninsula estate is owned by a billionaire Tony Pritzkerbrother of Illinois Gov. JB Pritzkerchairman and CEO of Pritzker Private Capital, and heir to the Hyatt Hotels fortune, who lived here and now his wife, a philanthropist. Jeanne Pritzkerand their six children.

After years of customizing the house, the former couple finished it in 2011. After more than a decade, the two celebrities separated and became embroiled in a bitter divorce with the house in the middle of nowhere.

Jeanne wanted to stay in the home she used for charity events while Tony wanted to sell the property after buying a $19.5 million condo in Westwood’s Beverly West condominium.

According to court documents, she stayed in the apartment and Tony moved out, but to her dismay, Jeanne was later told by Tony’s lawyers that the house was owned by a combination of trusts and limited liability companies.

Since Jeanne was not the beneficiary of the trust holding the property and had no legal ownership, she could not live there.
