Sandilands settled on the 9580 sqm acreage in Glenorie which is bordered by bushland, just weeks before his then-wife Tegan Kynaston gave birth to the couple’s first child, Otto.

The home has changed a lot as it has ended up being considered a “property”. [that] it really needs to be seen to be believed”.

In February last year, Sandilands revealed that it had started renovating the property.

The start was announced by Vaucluse-based Sandilands when a listener called, informing him that he had seen him at the award-winning Glenorie Bakery.

The home is being put on the market with a public showing on Thursday night and Wheatley said he expects there to be a lot of interest in the home, which will attract families, especially those who want to live in multiple generations.

He said Sandilands was selling the house because he wanted to be closer to the city.

That means he could be on the market for another weekend or look to upgrade the $14m Vaucluse home he bought in 2023.
