John Singleton will put Harry Triguboff out of business

Legendary developer John Singleton has seen brisk sales after launching marketing for his latest Central Coast project, 16 luxury apartments on the coast of Caroline Bay.
The East Gosford project, 49Caroline, is being developed in partnership with Trevor Loewensohn-led financier Alceon.
Now priced from $2,295,000 to $8,995,000, the apartments will be a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom residences.
The waterfront property designed by Mosman architect Enrique Blanco de Cordova of deBlanco Studio occupies a 2955sq m Caroline St holding. John Deiri’s construction firm JDC Property is building the project with completion scheduled for late 2027.

Gittoes agents Stephen Gittoes and Richard Faulkner are marketing the project as “the embodiment of an architectural philosophy that balances timeless beauty with modern coastal living”. Already three flats have been converted, and one is under offer. “The investigation was very good,” Mr Gittoes said.
“When John builds something, he does it well.”
The first project of John Singleton’s group was the Bonython Tower, which was completed in 2019 in Gosford.
The most recent sale in the 14-story building was $550,000 for a one-bedroom apartment that first sold for $462,000 in 2017.
The two-bedroom home sold last October for $700,000, originally for $652,800.
The first penthouses at Bonython Tower set city records when they sold for $1.6m-plus.
The region recently saw the sale of a $7m penthouse in the Rumbalara residences completed in Alceon.

Ravello, in the old Monti’s Ashore Fish & Chips location in Port Frederick, was Singleton’s second development.
He sold one of the three-bathroom houses overlooking Brisbane Water for $2.7m in 2019, a then-record price for the property.
The nine-storey Ravello on Masons Parade saw a recent sale of up to $3.5m. “I left it late to become an architect,” Singleton told The Daily Telegraph in early 2020.

“But I can put Harry Triguboff out of business.”
While news.com.au reported this week that Singleton is recovering from a recent heart attack, his next project is The Lodge, a “10-star” lodge and luxury restaurant on the Pacific Highway in Mount White, designed to complement his existing Saddles restaurant.

The Lodge will have 20 rooms in the form of a pavilion.
Singleton, one of Australia’s best known advertising entrepreneurs, founded SPASM in the late 1960s.
